THE FLIP PROMPTER™ iPad and Tablet Teleprompter
If you are looking for a light-weight, portable teleprompter that will work with your camcorder or DSLR camera then the FLIP PROMPTER™ might be the perfect teleprompter for you.
The FLIP PROMPTER is ready to use right out of the box and can be set up in seconds. There are no parts or fixtures that need to be installed before you are up-and-running.
It gets its name the FLIP PROMPTER™ because it flips open like an old cell phone. The mirror folds backward to lay flat on the top of the chassis and the tablet mount slide into pockets under the unit.
Once it is folded flat it is super small (12.5" X 14" X 4.5"), but it is quite a bit larger than other folding teleprompters allowing it to be used with large tablets.
Compared to any other folding teleprompter it is much more heavy-duty making at a far better solution for anyone who plans to travel around with their prompter.
When Telmax Teleprompters set out to engineer this product we looked at the other folding teleprompters and instantly identified places where improvement could be made starting with camera lens alignment all the way to the fabric enclosure that goes around the camera lens.
First, we wanted to make sure that the upper plate was in the correct position so that most camcorders or DLSR camera lens would properly center with the mirror. The other folding teleprompter positions the lens in the bottom part of the mirror which can be troublesome by having the lens too close to the tablet. This can lead to too much light exposed to the lens, and hardware being visible in the shot.
We made sure that the lens will be optimally placed in the center of the teleprompter mirror eliminating any of these problems.
Next, Telmax Telepromprompters wanted to make sure that there was a long enough chassis for a DLSR with a larger lens to be installed without having to add an extension to the teleprompter. We also made sure that the unit could be centered correctly over the tripod for even weight distribution.
One of the biggest issues with large fabric mirror enclosure is sagging. It is difficult to keep the fabric from wanting to sag down in front of the camera lens. We overcome this issue by adding side supports and a Bridge-strap under the fabric that creates on rigid opening around the critical area where the lens will be positioned. This completely eliminated the possibility of sagging. there is no way the fabric could actually sag with this configuration.
What more could you ask for? It's light-weight, portable, functional, compatible with most tablets, it looks cool, and has a lifetime warranty.
The FLIP PROMPTER™ is the new standard for portable teleprompters!
